Deep Work Windows Without the Guilt
Guilt is what happens when your expectations are infinite and your hours are not. Swap “I should focus all day” for “I will protect two honest windows.” Name them on your calendar like meetings with your future self.
Start each window with a single sentence of intent—not a vague “work on project,” but “draft section two outline” or “finish ten flashcards on X.” End with a thirty-second shutdown: what moved, what’s next, where files live.
