Tracking heat cycles

Overview

Kennel → Heats lists heat records for your program. Enter dates, status, and notes so you can coordinate breedings, vet work, and litter planning without relying on sticky notes.

Workflow

1. Open Heats from the Kennel section.
2. Add or edit a row when a cycle starts or when progesterone or vet data arrives.
3. Link mentally (and in notes) to the dam animal record.
4. Review upcoming or active cycles before scheduling breedings.

Practical note

Future planning is easier when heats are logged when they happen—not three weeks later.
