Tracking health records

Overview

Kennel → Health records links each entry to an animal, with a required Type (vaccination, OFA, DNA, and other categories), date, description, and optional notes. That structure is easier to filter and export than loose files.

Useful fields

• Type and date
• Result or summary in the description
• Issuer or veterinarian in notes when needed
• Supporting documents attached through your normal media workflow
• Regular review before breeding or placement decisions

Future you searches by type and date—titles like “stuff from vet” do not.
