Overview
Station applets live at /app/applets/{slug}/. Each tablet gets a scoped API key during first-time admin setup. Applets do not load the main app bundle—they are lightweight PWAs for kiosks.
Steps
- On the tablet, open the applet URL (e.g. Point of Sale).
- An administrator signs in with email and password.
- Optionally label the station (“Front desk”, “Whelping”).
- Install to home screen via the browser PWA prompt.
- Use Reset station in the header to revoke credentials.
Practical note
Provision once per device—revoke when tablets leave your facility.
Admin setup
Admin JWT required for first provision. API keys created in API Settings can be revoked from admin or Reset station on device.
Advanced options
Each applet permission set is defined in applet catalog—adjust only with host guidance. Deposit defaults from General Settings apply to POS/kiosk.
Troubleshooting
401 after provision: clock skew, revoked key, or wrong station secret—re-provision tablet.
