Medical gases and breathing air evaluates USP, NF, or OEM specifications for grade “D” breathing air, NFPA piping purity, and NFPA medical gas concentration.
For aerospace applications, compressed nitrogen gas is usually used to fill and pressurize aircraft components such as tires and struts. Nitrogen is inert–it will not support fire if released under pressure. Consequently, FAA regulations require most tires contain less than five percent oxygen. Moisture and oxygen can also cause corrosion. Impurities like particles and moisture can impede moving parts and cause imbalances in tires.
Manufacturing process gases can be evaluated to verify supplier specifications and to meet quality assurance requirements. Distribution systems can be evaluated by sampling multiple distribution points. Our independent test will determine how your gas compares with its design specifications.
Fuels can be evaluate for combustion properties and potential emissions pollutants, including landfill gas (LFG) fuel methane content.
